We’re looking for highly adaptable, passionate and forward-thinking individuals who are ready to embrace their next challenge and join Lincolnshire Rural Housing, we are recruiting for two Independent members for our Audit and Risk Committee. We are seeking one member with financial experience and another with relevant experience, be that in or outside of the sector.

We’re a vibrant organisation with an amazing culture. LRHA were formed in 1986; and are a general needs housing provider. We own and manage 428 properties. We’re a specialist organisation providing high quality affordable housing in the smaller rural communities throughout Lincolnshire, parts of Rutland, Kings Lynn and West Norfolk.
We fulfil a vital role in sustaining small and dispersed rural communities by providing high quality and affordable homes for rural people in need. We’re all about the resident, and our service doesn’t stop once the keys are in the door.

Your professional and personal backgrounds, professional expertise and life experience will contribute to our future success by informing, supporting and developing how we lead the organisation.

You’ll be a trusted voice and a team player. You’ll apply your skill set and experience to a variety of situations to ensure our management team are set up for success.
By providing clear, succinct and objective guidance and scrutiny, you’ll drive organisational performance, ensure strong governance and that we stay compliant with all our legal and regulatory obligations.

Commitment
Meetings are held three times per year, currently via Teams. You will also be invited to attend Board and Operation Committee Workshops.
Induction, training, participation in learning and development sessions and ah-hoc engagement as required.

Independent Remuneration £1k p.a.
In addition, reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
