Energy Saving Event with Janet Clark

Big Energy Saving Network is brought to you by Citizens Advice, Energy Saving Trust and the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

YMCA Community Lincs are helping to deliver the Big Energy Saving Winter that will provide UK householders with resources and information on how to check, switch and save on their energy bills this winter. The Big Energy Saving Winter runs from 2nd November 2020 to the end of January 2021.

We will be helping people reduce their energy bills and save money as part of Big Energy Saving Winter (November-January) and the Big Energy Saving Network ( October- March 2021). Staff from YMCA Community Lincs will be supporting local people to follow three simple steps to prepare for the winter ahead.

• Check to see if they are eligible for discounts, grants and support
• Switch their tariff or energy supplier to get the best deal
• Save money by becoming more energy efficient

Tenants of Lincs Rural gathered together to discuss their energy bill queries with Janet Clark – Senior Rural officer at YMCA Community Lincs.
