Annual Servicing for Gas & Oil Propertiesgas

All landlords have a legal duty to ensure that any gas and oil appliances and pipes are tested every 12 months. This is to protect you and your family from the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Please ensure that you allow access to the contractor who comes to carry out this annual service and safety check

If you have a gas cooker or other gas appliance, you must ensure that it is installed and regularly serviced by a Gas Safe registered contractor and a copy of the Installation Certificate sent to the Association.

Home Contents Insurance

We are responsible for insuring the structure of your home; however we strongly recommend that you take out contents insurance to cover all of your belongings.

You should ensure that any insurance you buy covers internal decorations, carpets, fixtures and fittings for which you are responsible.

It should also include third party cover in case someone makes a claim against you.

My Home contents insurance is promoted by the National Housing Federation and is specifically for social housing tenants. Click here for more information.
